@Renata: It has been a while since I made this photo so I don't have all the details. However, I made a photo of apples sitting on a black velvet cloth. In Photoshop CS3 I added an overlay image of rough texture to the apple photo and adjusted the opacity to get the blend I was looking for. I hope this helps you understand the post processing.
