plumeria bloom macro

Posted by Jeff (Honolulu, United States) on 28 March 2008 in Plants & Nature and Portfolio.

I found this flower lying on the ground this morning and brought it home to photograph. It was a bit limp at first, but by putting it in a shallow bowl of water I was able to revive it enough for this image. The plumeria blossom is as fragrant as it is beautiful.
