airport hula

While waiting for a flight out of Hawaii for Christmas, passengers were treated to a brief show by a local musical group featuring a hula dancer. This image captures a portion of the hula. Instead of a traditional floral lei she wore a red lei for Christmas and had a similar garland sparkling in her hair. They moved from gate to gate spreading cheer among the travelers. There are photo opportunities all around, some of them unexpected as this one.
