high key still life

This vase of roses was on a glass table in my home. One morning after clearing breakfast dishes away I noticed the placemat and napkin and thought they and the roses made a nice still life image. I processed it as a high key image because I liked the way the glass table top disappeared, leaving only the edge of the table and the reflection of the vase. I find the negative space appealing.
