a question of balance

I like simple images and even though a picture of spoons doesn't really amount to anything, learning to process a simple image is important as it forces one to concentrate on the details because there is no color or interest value to distract attention from the basics. In this one, the counter top is processed to provide a dark background with which to work. The image was shot with available light coming through a window midway through the morning.
